Where Else To Find Me

This community is for the homeschooler who lives in the 21st century and knows that to give our kids a head start on life we have to help them move into this brave new world with all the skills they will need to succeed. Latin? Maybe. Keyboarding and Coding? Absolutely.

We’re going to talk about schooling, curriculum, and such, but this space will be more about the parents than the students. We are the ones with “boots on the ground” in this effort to educate our kids the way we feel God is calling us to. We need to encourage each other, make each other laugh, and sometimes just take a collective breath.

What if we created space for a community of couples who want to remind ourselves that our marriages need nurturing on a daily basis, not just on the occasional date night? A space where we could figure out what it looks like to reflect Christ more fully through the covenants we made with our spouses? A space where, through sharing our ideas and stories, we are reminded of what it looks like to spend as much time growing our marriages as we do growing our families?

The M.O.M. Initiative is an acrostic for Mothers on a Mission to Mentor Other Mothers. Our goal is to minister to moms who know Christ and reach those who don’t. It’s a fresh new vision for an age-old calling.
